Wol-Ceram®

Wol-Ceram® Wol-Ceram uses innovative technology in order to recreate the natural look of teeth. Wol-Ceram's copings, bridges, and implant abutments are fabricated out of VITA In-Ceram, Spinell, Alumina, and Zirconia materials. The final veneering of the restoration is done following standard procedures with any of the porcelains currently available for Wol-Ceram such as Vita VM7, Vita Alpha, Noritake Cerabien, Jensen Creation AV, or Vintage AL Esthetic Porcelain.

Wol-ceram is a new highly sophisticated electro-layered ceramic system and a CAD-CAM system that produces strong Zirconia, Alumina or Spinell All ceramic restorations.

The WOL-CERAMĀ® ELC (Electro Layered Ceramic) process starts when the die is immersed into the In-Ceram material. At this point an electrical charge is applied to the In-Ceram material and an opposite charge is applied to the die. The difference in polarity attracts the In-Ceram material to the die to form an extremely dense and uniform coping.

The system works off the master die, enabling it to produce an extremely accurate fit and the most precise margins of any CAD/CAM dental system available today.

This process takes about 25 seconds on single units, about 35 seconds on bridges and about 90 seconds on implants. No special margin is needed. It works with any preparation.
